Penny Arcade – Achievements and Chain Bonuses
Yesterday I added achievements to Penny Arcade! Currently there are six and I’ll add some more before my submission deadline which I have set for this Friday.
Also, I have added chain bonuses which really do make the game more interesting. If you collect 10 coins without touching a red or without letting a single yellow coin slip by you will be awarded a whopping great big green coin worth 50 points! This is a great way to rack up the highscore.
I want the Chain countdown bar to be animated in the fashion of an old LCD animation bar found on a fruity, I think this will add a lot of tension, but for this release I may have to stick with the current bar or at least a bar that’s not so animated
